WAKE COUNTY, NC – The Wake Forest Fire Department of northern Wake County has taken delivery of a custom Commander Rosenbauer pumper-tanker for their newly opened Fire Station 4.
The unit features a 1500 gpm pump, 1000 gallon tank and a 20 gallon foam cell.
The engine is a cummins ISL9 450hp with an Allison EVS 3000 transmission.
Special features include 4-Front Airbag system and RollTek safety system, Rosenbauer MAXX HVAC system, 20” front bumper extension with hose tray, Roto-Ray LED warning light, FRC Spectra LED brow light, open dunnage compartment over pump enclosure, Smart Power 6Kw hydraulic generator, 3” monitor discharge, Foam Pro 2002Series foam system, internal ladder and suction hose storage, 2100 gallon drop tank storage compartment, wheel well provisions for (6) SCBA cylinders and Two (2) 20lb ABC fire extinguishers, 6” round jet dump at rear and customized shelf and tray package.
The unit was sold by Joel Callihan from C.W. Williams & Co, LLC.
