ROCKY MOUNT – On May 9, 2012 at 21:28 hours, City of Rocky Mount fire units were dispatched to a vehicle crash on Interstate 95 involving several tractor trailers which were on fire.
NASH COUNTY – Shortly after 10:00 hours on Sunday, April 15th, Nash County 911 received a report for a dwelling on fire in the 3100 block of Womble Road in the Nashville section of Nash County.
ROCKY MOUNT – On March 23rd, Rocky Mount firefighters responded to a mobile home fire at 2100 Nancy’s Circle. Upon arrival smoke and flames were visible from the D Side bedroom window.
NASH COUNTY – On Monday, March 12th, firefighters from Salem, Red Oak, Castalia, Battleboro and Whitakers battled a stubborn house fire on Swift Creek School Road in the Salem section of Nash County. Firefighters made an aggressive interior attack battling the blaze for over thirty minutes before being driven out by the fast moving fire. [...]
ROCKY MOUNT – On February 16th, members of the Rocky Mount Fire Department Technical Emergency Rescue Team (TERT) conducted a mock rescue drill as part of their monthly specialized team training.
