Andy Chatman

Andy has been involved in the fire service for 26 years with the Pleasant Hill Volunteer Fire Department.

He joined the department at age 10 as a Junior Firefighter (back when Jr programs were pretty broad). He has served in the capacity of Training Officer, Captain, and has held the position of Assistant Chief since 1999.

He served as a telecommunicator with the Wilkes County Sheriff’s Office for 4 years, and with Surry County E-911 Communications for one year.
