Harrisburg Fire Department, Cabarrus County
Harrisburg has ordered a two door Spartan Gladiator with a SVI 22' walk-in body. The apparatus will be powered by a 2006 Detroit Diesel Series 60, 515hp with Allison transmission. Included will be a 9000 watt Super Vac Command Light, 5 hydraulic reels, 3 electric reels and two air reels. A six bottle 6000psi Bauer cascade system, a 40kW Onan PTO generator and a Warn 12,000# portable winch with receivers on all sides. Expected delivery is early 2008.
 
Asheville Fire Rescue, Buncombe County
Ordered five new Pierce pumpers on Dash chassis. Delivery expected Nov-Dec 2007.
 
Locke Township Fire Department, Rowan County
Ordered a 2007 Seagrave Marauder II Rescue Engine. Features include 1500 gpm pump, 1000 gallon water tank, 50 gallon Class A foam tank, FDNY style hose bed, extrication tools, full height-full depth compartments both sides. Expected delivery date is October 2007.
 
Smith Grove Fire Department, Davie County
Ordered a Sutphen S2 Custom 10" raised cab roof from Stevens Fire Equipment. The pumper will be built on a stainless steel chassis with a rescue-style body. Power will be by a 400 hp Cummins engine. The unit will feature a 1500 gpm side-mount control panel, 6kw hydraulic generator, front bumper storage of 150' of 1.75" attack line, speedlays, booster reel, all LED lighting, ladder through the tank, Q2B sire, 750 gallon poly tank, ROM roll-up doors and a Hannay electric rewind cord reel. Delivery is expected in September 2007.
 
Matthews Volunteer Fire Department, Mecklenburg County
Ordered a Seagrave Marauder engine with split tilt cab and seating for six. The unit will have a single stage 2000 gpm pump and 720 gallons of water, Foam Pro 3012 dual foam system with 30 gallons of Classes A and B foam, and a full complement of extrication tools. Delivery is scheduled for ten months.
 
Cornelius-Lemley Fire Rescue, Mecklenburg County
Ordered a Pierce Dash tandem axle heavy rescue with seating for six. Unit will feature a Detroit Diesel 490 hp engine, 23.5 foot stainless steel rescue box with roll-up doors, four hydraulic reels, two air reels, two electric reels, a 6000 psi cascade system with filling station, 9000 watt Wil-Burt light tower and nine scene lights.

Ordered a Sutphen SPH 100 aerial platform and three Crimson pumpers from Steven Fire Equipment.

Leland Fire Rescue, Brunswick County
Ordered four rescue engines from Stevens Fire Equipment. The engines will be built by Crimson Fire, feature four man custom cabs with an EMS cabinet inside. The units will feature 1500 gpm Hale top-mount pumps, 750 gallon tanks, 30 gallon foam tanks and a 4000 watt light tower.
 
Momeyer Fire Rescue, Nash County
Ordered a Pierce 2100 gallon elliptical tanker with a 1250 gpm pump. To be mounted on a 7400 International chassis. Ordered from Triad Fire.
 
Half Moon Fire Rescue, Onlsow County
Ordered 2001 Bucks Trucks, 12 bay rescue truck. Unit includes a full passenger side awning, Night Scan light tower, two ladder racks, arrow stick and county issued WMD gear.
 
Cherokee Fire Rescue, Swain County
Ordered two Crimson units. Both are 2,000 gallon tankers.
 
Wake Forest Fire Department, Wake County
Ordered a Pierce platform, due this summer.

Half Moon Volunteer Fire Department, Onslow County
Ordered a Fouts Brothers Brush truck. This is being paid for by a grant from FEMA 2005, after the first time appyling. Delivery is expected February 1, 2006.
 
Boger City Volunteer Fire Department, Lincoln County
The Boger City VFD in Lincoln County has ordered a Pierce Dash pumper-tanker . It will be equipped with a 1500 gpm Waterous pump, a 1250 gallon water tank, a Williams Foam System with both "A" and "B" foam tanks, a 515 hp Detroit diesel engine, Tak 4 suspension, side roll protection, and a 6kw generator. It was sold by Brain Hall with Triad Fire and has an expected delivery date of June 2006.
 
Farmington Volunteer Fire Department, Davie County
Ordered an Elite Power Products tanker on International cab and chassis. International DT 570 330hp engine, Allison 3000 EVS transmission, Darley PSP 1,000 gpm pump, 2,000 gallon Custom Fiberglass tank. Sold by Ronny Edwards, Hilltop Equipment, Inc., Sparta, NC. Delivery in July 2005.

Ordered a an Elite Power Products brush/medical, Ford F550 cab and chassis, Powerstroke engine, auto transmission, Waterous 3030C pump, 200 gallon polypropylene tank. Sold by Ronny Edwards, Hilltop Equipment, Inc., Sparta, NC. Delivery in August 2005.
 
Cornelius-Lemley Fire Rescue, Mecklenburg County
Ordered a new Seagrave engine. The truck will feature a Detroit Series 60 470-hp engine, a Waterous 2000 gpm two stage pump  with a Williams Fire & Hazard Control Advent 60 foam system. The truck will have a 750 gallon water tank and a 50 gallon foam tank. It will also feature an 8kw AMPS generator with seven scene lights. The new engines body will be similar to Engine 4 in an effort to standardize the compartments on all engines. The truck is expected to arrive in early summer 2005. This unit will replace the 1984 Ford/Pierce that has served the department well for twenty years.

Fair Bluff Fire Rescue, Columbus County
Ordered a 2005 E-One Pumper/Tanker on an International 4400 chassis. 1250 gpm  Hale pump, Foam Pro System, 1220 poly tank, 30 gallon foam cell, Class 1 pressure governor. Delivery expected early 2005. Unit sold by Ken Proctor, C.W. Williams and Company.
 
Hope Mills Fire Department, Cumberland County
Town Commissioners have approved funds for $412,236 for a new Pierce pumper/tanker. The new unit will replace a 1988 model.
 
Elk Park Volunteer Fire Department, Avery County
Ordered a 2005 Kenworth T-300/ 4 Guys tanker, powered by a Cat C-7, 330 hp diesel engine.  It has a 500 gpm Hale AP500 p.t.o. pump.  The tank is a 1800 gallon UPF elliptical poly with a stainless steel wrap.  It has a stainless steel body with a 20 year warranty.  It will come with 12 strand Insta-chains.  This is a sister truck to the pumper Elk Park has on order that will be delivered on 9-10-04.  The tanker is expected to be delivered in January 2005.  It was sold by Doug Callan of Cove Creek Fire Trucks in Greeneville, TN.

 
Saunook Volunteer Fire Department, Haywood County
Ordered a 2005 Sterling Acterra/ 4 Guys tanker, powered by a Cat C-7, 330 hp diesel engine.  It has a 500 gpm Hale AP500 p.t.o. pump.  The tank is a 1500 gallon UPF elliptical poly with a stainless steel wrap.  It has a stainless steel body with a 20 year warranty.  It will come with a booster reel mounted in the rear bulk head compartment.  The tanker is expected to be delivered in February 2005.  It was sold by Doug Callan of Cove Creek Fire Trucks in Greeneville, TN.
 
Brevard Fire Department, Transylvania County
The City of Brevard Fire Department is scheduled to receive two American LaFrance Metropolitan engines in the Fall of 2004. Each engine is equipped with a 2,000 gpm pump, 1,000 gallon booster tank, rear 5" intake, front bumper 2.5" discharge, 1000' 5", 400' 2.5", 400' 1.75", 10kw generator, 6 man cab, 400 HP Cummins w/Allison Transmission. Sold by Southeastern American LaFrance.
 
Deep Run Volunteer Fire Department, Lenoir County
Expecting mid-summer delivery of a Hackney Heavy Rescue on a 7400 International four door chassis. The apparatus will feature nine roll-up doors and coffin type roof compartments. The truck will feature twin Hurst electric pumps, dual hydraulic hose reels, and a 25kw generator supplying one electric reel and tripod lights. Unit will also have 120v body mount lights for scene lighting and a six bottle cascade system. It will also have a UPF skid unit with 250 gallons of water and 10 gallons of foam for vehicle fires. The engine is a Detroit Diesel and fully multiplexed with seating for four firefighters. Sold by Hackney Emergency Vehicles, Washington, North Carolina.

Pineville Volunteer Fire Department, Mecklenburg County
Ordered two identical Pierce Dash 2000 pumpers with Tak-4 suspensions. 1500 gpm two-stage pumps, 750 gallons of water, 30 gallons of foam, Akron Foam System, 6 man cab, side rollover protection, Detroit Series 60 425hp with Allison Automatic transmission, 1000 gpm deluge gun and 500 gpm Mercury monitor. Anticipated early summer delivery.
