DESCRIPTION = Dispatched to a Structure Fire at 301 West 12th Street in Scotland Neck. Upon arrival, found heavy flames on 2nd floor of a two story residential home. Mutual Aid was requested from Weldon Fire Department for their aerial truck, Hobgood, Enfield and Tillery Fire Departments for Engines and manpower. Approximately 3 hours into the event countywide mutual aid was requested for manpower to relieve the firefighters that responded to the initial call. The countywide request brought Davie, Halifax, Rheasville and Littleton Fire Departments in addition to the departments already on scene. Fire units remained onscene until approximately 10:30am. No injuries reported during this event.
