HUNTERSVILLE - Gilead Fire Rescue has
taken delivery of a Marion 18' rescue mounted on a Spartan Gladiator
chassis. The unit is powered by a 440 hp Detroit Series 60. It is
equipped with a full set of Amkus Hydraulic Tools, a 200 ton set of
Paratech High Pressure air bags and a (4) bottle 6000 PSI cascade
system with Scott Revolve Air Fill Station.
Also included is a 9000 watt Wil-Burt light tower, a 35kW PTO Onan
generator and a 12,000# Warn electric winch.
The unit was delivered by Jody Brown of MES Action Fire and Safety
of Charlotte.
