HALIFAX COUNTY - The Darlington
Volunteer Fire Department in Halifax County has taken delivery of
this Rosenbauer light duty rescue. The 2007 5500 Chevrolet four-door
4x4 features a 14' aluminum rescue body with Rom roll-up doors,
adjustable shelves, roll-out, tilt-down trays and custom rescue tool
mounting.
There is a 12kW diesel generator with remote start in cab, a 6,000
watt Wil-Burt lighttower, an Amkus electric Simp pump with dual 100'
reels in the rear compartment, a 12,000# winch recessed in the front
bumper, and a 9,000# portable winch with three Reese receiver under
the body.
