CURRITUCK COUNTY - Carova Beach
Fire-Rescue has taken delivery of a 2007 CET Ford F-350 CAFS brush
unit. The rig features a custom built all aluminum body, 30cfm CAFS
and a 300 gallon poly tank. It also has a 200' booster reel and two
1.5" pre-connects.
Carova is one of the most isolated communities on the east coast.
The only access by road is along the beach north of Corolla. Note
the wild horses in the photographs.
