HILLSBOROUGH - Orange Rescue Chief
Nathan Huey is proud to show off their new Heavy Rescue from EVI.
The unit features a Spartan 8-man Diamond Chassis. The engine is a
Cummins ISL 370hp. Special features include a 6000 watt light tower,
six hydraulic reels with tools and a front bumper reel, Eagle
Sidewinder cascade system, roof top compartments, ladder storage,
Speedy-Dri hopper, 35kW PTO Onan generator, Robinson Roll-up doors,
Whelen LED lighting, two electric cord reels and On-Spot Chains.
An interesting feature on the rig is the lettering on the rear side
compartment listing all of the certifications that the department
holds: Heavy Rescue Provider, Wilderness Land Search and Rescue,
Water Rescue - Open Water and Ambulance EMS Provider.
