BRUNSWICK COUNTY - Leland Fire Rescue
recently took delivery of a new Sutphen Shield rescue pumper. The
unit features a 1,500 gpm pump, all stainless steel plumbing, 750
gallon tank, rescue style compartments and a light tower. The engine
is a Cummins 450 hp. The unit also features a Hale Foam Logix
system, hydraulic generator and a front jump line.
