FAYETTEVILLE - Pearces Mill, located
just south of Fayetteville, has taken delivery of a new Pierce
Velocity pumper-tanker. The unit was delivered in March of 2008. The
unit was sold by Triad Fire.
It features a 515 hp engine, TAK-4 independent front suspension,
1500 gpm Waterous pump and a 1,000 tank. Additional features include
command zone and control zone cab as well as side roll protection.
FRC visor light and Whelen emergency lighting. Ladders and a 1,500
gallon folding tank are enclosed within compartments.
