GREENSBORO - 2006 Sutphen. This unit
entered service on February 14, 2006. The unit features a 100 foot
platform, 1,500 gpm pump, 300 gallon tank, rescue extrication and
medical equipment and a full complement of hose and ladders.
Housed at Fire Station 5 on Wendover Terrace, this 490 hp Detroit
Diesel is now ready for service. This is the third Suthphen ladder
for Truck 5. The original unit was a 1990, followed by a 1992 model.
