MOREHEAD CITY - The Morehead City Fire
& EMS Department has acquired a surplus boat from the Army Corps of
Engineers for use as a fireboat.
The unit is kept on a trailer instead of docked so that it can
quickly respond to various ramps in the county as needed. The unit
is equipped with a 500gpm portable pump.
