ALBEMARLE - The City of Albemarle Fire and Rescue Department has taken delivery of a 2006 E-One C400 Rescue Pumper. The apparatus was built on an E-One Typhoon Long Chassis and is powered by a 350 horsepower Cummins ISL CM850 engine with an Allison 5 speed EVS3000P automatic transmission.

The rescue pumper has a 1500 gpm Hale Q Max pump with a 500 gallon water tank and a 40 gallon integrated foam cell. The apparatus seats six and is equipped with a Foam Pro 1600 on-board foam system and 15kw hydraulic generator.

The apparatus was sold by C.W. Williams & Company, Inc.
