Rockingham County Structure Fire

ROCKINGHAM COUNTY - Rockingham County
stations 130, 60 and 50 responded to this structure fire on
Wednesday, December 12th. Heavy smoke was reported two miles out.
Additional stations assisting were 120, 70, 150, Stokes County 36
and Guilford County 12.

Plane Crash

COLUMBUS COUNTY - On Sunday morning, December 9th, Fair Bluff
Fire-Rescue was dispatched for a reported plane down and on fire.
There initially were conflicting reports on the number of persons on
board. On arrival, Medic 860 reported the plane on fire with the
pilot safely away from the aircraft. Two foam lines were used to
control the fire. Horry County Fire-Rescue (South Carolina) also
responded.

GARNER - Garner firefighters work an overturned tractor-trailer on
US Highway 70 at White Oak Road. The collision occurred on December
4th. Several lanes were closed for hours on the busy highway.

Interstate 40 Collision

WAKE COUNTY - On December 8th, Western Wake Engine 191 and Rescue
295 were dispatched to Interstate 40 and Harrison Avenue. E191
arrived to find a single vehicle that had flipped several times and
ejected the driver. Additional units included Car 290, EMS4, 2, EMS
District 1 and 5.
