SPECIAL REPORT
Raleigh/Wake County Fire and EMS Now LIVE On-Line

SUN SEP 30
FIRENEWS.NET STAFF PHOTO

RALEIGH - FireNews.net and CAROLINAS FIRE PAGE are pleased to announce that fire-rescue radio traffic for Raleigh and Wake County is now available on-line. The agencies are on the State of North Carolina Viper Digital 800 system. Cary is the only fire department in the county not part of the system.

To listen to the system, we recommend installing the FireNews.net Toolbar (see above). We have been broadcasting Charlotte/Mecklenburg and Greenboro/Guilford for years, and are proud to add the Capital County to the mix.

The system automatically archives three weeks worth of radio traffic, filed by day and by 15 minute intervals. One unique feature of the system is the Locution based dispatch, which is a computer generated voice. Email CFP is you are interested in having your department added to our growing list of broadcasts.
