1995 Ford Chief's Rescue
"FireNews.net allowed multi-state exposure to our trucks that we feel we could not have gotten any place else. Their service was outstanding and they remained in touch with us while our apparatus was posted. I would strongly recommend using this service for any apparatus you may be trying to sell."

Units Initially Dispatched to Vehicle Fire
MON JAN 22
SUBMITTED BY CARTER RABIL, CFP-733
JOHNSTON COUNTY - Kenly and Micro Fire and North Johnston EMS responded to what they thought was a routine vehicle fire Sunday night. On arrival, Kenly Fire Chief Paul Whitehurst and firefighters sized up the crash and quickly extinguished the blaze in one truck to find one victim.

Two close friends, both drivers, from North Johnston High School were killed. Another friend was airlifted via Pedro, the military aero-medical unit, due to weather conditions grounding all civilian choppers. It is unclear why the vehicles were traveling in opposite directions. The NCSHP is investigating.
