RALEIGH - Wake County EMS-5
collided with a passenger car Tuesday
morning at the intersection of New Hope Road and Capital Boulevard.
En route to a call off Buffaloe Road, EMS 5 was travelling eastbound
when struck by the northbound car about 6:20 a.m. Both paramedics
were transported with non-critical injuries. One patient from the
passenger car was also transported. Units on scene include EMS 16,
EMS 3, EMS 2, EMS 203, EMS 205, and Raleigh Engine 19 and Rescue 19.

CHARLOTTE - Debris litters a
street and several yards after a small plane crashed west of Uptown.
Four occupants on a single-engine Cessna died Sunday morning after
crashing. The impact and debris field covered the back yards of
three homes in a neighborhood about two miles east of
Charlotte-Douglas International Airport. There were no injuries on
the ground.

WINSTON-SALEM - Truck 4 and
Rescue 1 extricated the driver of this vehicle collision on December
6. The patient was transported to the hospital by Forsyth County
EMS.

WARSAW - On Wednesday December
20, Kenansville and Warsaw Fire Department along with Duplin County
EMS Medic 8 were dispatched to 2200 block of West Wards Bridge Road
for a large field fire. A KFD firefighter arrived POV and reported a
large open field spreading into the woods and endangering a mobile
home park. A second alarm request was made for Sarecta Fire
Department tankers, brush truck, and manpower.
KFD and WFD arrived to find a large open field as well as a large
wooded area on fire. The fire was also fire very close to four
structures in the mobile home park. A third alarm was requested for
Oak Wolfe Fire Department tankers, brush truck, and manpower. Four
brush trucks from all departments involved started fire suppression
on the woods and field as three engines set up at the mobile home
park. All tankers staged on a path off of Wards Bridge Road to fill
brush trucks. The fire was placed under control at 13:00 and units
cleared the call at 13:30. One firefighter was treated by EMS for a
minor injury.

structure.
