CHARLOTTE – Here’s another photo from Charlotte, taken at the same time as the one of Squad 2.

This time, the featured unit is one of several E-One Hush pumpers delivered to the Queen City. This one was assigned to Engine 4.

I don’t think the Hush’s were ever a crowd favorite with the firefighters.

I’m not sure how many were eventually delivered, but quite a few engines were assigned these units.

I also think I remember that Engine 4 and 1 were 2,000 gpm units, with very large deck guns.
