LOUISBURG – The Louisburg Fire Department has taken delivery of a 2012 Pierce Impel Custom Pumper from Triad Fire.

The cab seats 6 with PS6 seats and hands free SCBA brackets, 10” raised roof and a cab extension.

The truck is equipped with a Detroit 425 HP engine, 1500GPM Hale Q-Max Single Stage Pump with top mounted pump panel, 1230 gallon water tank and a Husky Foam system with a 20 gallon foam cell.

Also onboard is a Harrison 8kw hydraulic generator to supply power for the scene lights and electrical needs on the fireground. The truck is equipped with a Newton Valve in the rear compartment for water shuttle operations.

During the final inspection of the apparatus, members of the apparatus committee stopped for a photo opportunity at Lambeau Field during the road test.
