Winnabow Volunteer Fire Department

BRUNSWICK COUNTY – On Monday, January 16, the Winnabow Volunteer Fire Department took delivery of a 2012 International 4400 Tanker-Pumper from Midwest Fire.

The tanker is equipped with a 500 gpm pump and capable of pump and roll operations. The 2,000 gallon elliptical poly tank comes with three 10-inch Newton dump valves; both front valves and chutes can be controlled from inside of the cab.

The tanker is now the first due tanker and is replacing a 1994 tractor-trailer 5,000 gallon tanker.
