SYLVA – The Sylva Fire Department proudly took delivery on Saturday, January 7th of their first aerial device.
The HME 78′ rear mount ladder is powered by a 500hp Cummins engine and features a six-firefighter cab. The 1500 gpm Hale pump is mated to a 600 gallon tank and includes a 40 gallon foam cell.
She is painted in American LaFrance chrome yellow. The unit is designated Ladder 358.
