Wilmington Fire Department

WILMINGTON –  Construction continues on the new Fire Station 2 at 3403 Park Avenue at Empie Park. The new building replaces a two-bay 1965 fire station at the same location. That building was closed in October 2010 due to a mold problem and demolished last summer. The $2.4 million structure has been designed by Gage Architects of Wilmington.
