Cliffside Area Fire Department Assistant Chief Recognized for 30 Years of Service

RUTHERFORD COUNTY – Cliffside Area Fire Department Assistant Fire Chief Dennis Brown was recognized on December 10th, 2011 for 30 years of service with the department.

Assistant Chief Brown joined the department in January 1981 and climbed through the ranks, where he has served many positions with the department including firefighter, Lieutenant, Captain, a member of the Board of Directors, and also as Fire Chief.

Brown has been an important influence in progressing the department forward over the years and still actively serves the department.

Also receiving awards for achievement were Captain Danny McCraw for Firefighter of the Year, Captain Tim Robinson for 15 years of service, Lt. Jimmy Sprouse for 5 years of service and Chaplain Fred Williams for 5 years of service.
