Firefighters Make Quick Stop to Fast Moving Fire

Nash County


NASHVILLE – Firefighters from Nashville responded to a dwelling fire on Thursday, December 8th at 13:00 hours to 211 Vernon Street.

On arrival, the crew from Engine 141 found a one-story dwelling with heavy smoke and flames showing.

Firefighters placed two 1.75-inch lines in service and performed an interior attack. The fire was controlled in thirty minutes.

Extensive salvage and overhaul was required.

Momeyer and Red Oak Fire Departments responded, along with an call back of Nashville paid firefighters.
