Toddler Dies in Elizabeth City House Fire

PASQUOTANK COUNTY – A 2-year-old boy has died following a house fire that happened Saturday evening.

The Daily Advance newspaper reports that the fire happened around 6:20 p.m. on Roanoke Avenue, across from Pasquotank County Health & Social Services building, and near P. W. Moore Elementary.

Dispatch couldn’t confirm the address, and only told WVEC.com that an adult and two children escaped, while the toddler who died did not make it.

According to dispatch, the investigation is suspended until Sunday morning.
