Warren County House Fire

Warren County

WARREN COUNTY – Three Warren County fire departments responded to a reported house fire on Whaley Drive in Warrenton on Monday evening, November 28th. Warrenton Rural VFD arrived to find flames and heavy smoke coming from a vacant double-wide mobile home on a brick foundation.

The fire had ventilated itself in the rear of the house. The initial exterior attack quickly knocked down the flames while another team attempted to gain entry to the residence. Another group ventilated the roof at which time positive pressure ventilation operations were started.

Neighbors reported that some juveniles had been inside the vacant home earlier that day. The Warren County Sheriff’s Office and the Warren County Fire Marshal are investigating the fire.
